ACCOMMODATION
Adorning the entrance of the Hotel is the date 1898, the year this magnificent building was founded. Situated in the historic area of Bloomsbury, the hotel's style and rich detail is quintessentially Victorian. The interior features a grand marble staircase, wood panelling, crystal chandeliers and 329 rooms furnished with all the modern comforts.

The Economy range rooms are en suite with bath, direct dial telephones, tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and remote-controlled television. They are without air conditioning or mini-fridge.

The Standard Range rooms have the same facilities as Economy rooms; however, they have been recently refurbished in a classic style. All have a trouser press, iron and ironing board, modem points and are fully air-conditioned.

DINING
Fitzroy Doll's Bar-Restaurant offers modern British food in a great room at a great price. Light meals are available at the bar and the restaurant has daily specials. Alternatively, the informal Virginia Woolf's Restaurant serves a selection of grills, burgers, pastas, and salads. Next door is Benjamin's Bar where guests can enjoy a draught beer in a cosmopolitan atmosphere. The King's Bar and Lounge creates a haven of peace and comfort in which to settle down with a good book in front of a log fire, to take afternoon tea at leisure, or meet for evening cocktails.

LEISURE
The sights and business centres of the capital are all within easy reach via the excellent public transport systems on the hotel's very doorstep. Russell Square Station on the Piccadilly Line will get you to Heathrow in 50 minutes.
